    Shadow Dark is simply a must have RPG!

    You cannot go wrong with this starter set! When I read the rules my mind started coming alive with ideas for home brew adventures. I quickly jotted a few things down and drew a map the next day and played it with the wife and kiddo. Even though my hasty homemade adventure still needed work it played very smoothly and we can't wait to bring this to our group! I will be ordering the hardcover very soon!

    Excellent, just Excellent

    This is a great dungeon to introduce you and your group to the themes of Shadowdark. The rules are outlined well and easy to learn. The dungeon itself is a lot of fun, rich with environmental storytelling, exploration, roleplay moments, and of course, danger and treasure! For the price of free, it would be silly to pass up this product.

    There is a staggering amount of content here for free that can easily last for several hours of play. Highly recommend giving Shadowdark a shot!

    Amazing!

    Amazing! Insane! What a game!

    Thank you so much for making the basic rules free. I am the DM for our group and have purchased all of your books, but it isn't something that I can expect of my players. I was able to print a couple copies of the quick start rules for my players to use around the table and it is perfect.

    It's really awesome that I can give them the resources they need to try the game out without them having to commit to spending on it.

    Starter set

    Still getting use to the turn base DM but I have love it so far. If you have played 5e it would really to start playing right away. I also had a first time TTRPG player and she got it really fast.
