    A question of comfort and style

    A little while ago I became aware of ShadowDark through YouTube, I tried the quickstart rules and fell in love with the game straight away.

    After buying the beautifully illustrated and really exemplary edited basic rules, and the coherent, content-packed fanzines I had the opportunity as a Game Master at a small con to get friends and strangers excited about ShadowDark aswell. For this I also purchased the mini-adventures, which were lucidly inspiring and also very well done, and those 12 premade 1st-level characters offered on here. With the existing 8 from quickstart sets, I now had an attractive, varied and, above all, beautifully illustrated group of 20 Crawler characters, that I could offer my players to choose from, after conveniently quickly printing them on a home inkjet printer.

    My work thus was done by preparing, adapting and running the dungeon. All in all, I had a lot of fun, my players had a lot of fun too, and with these character sheets they also got a nice keepsake of their first game of ShadowDark to take home with them.
