Amazing artwork, quality, and utility. Perfect for new players and for quickly pulling together a gauntlet or one-shot.

Great characters

These characters are on nice cardstock, the art is evocative, and they have cool names, like Mirwina Torby. The cards are the same height and width as the Shadowdark book and the folded up GM screen, so they sit nicely on a bookshelf next to each other. Also, they come bundled in a clear plastic sleeve, so you can easily grab and tuck them in a bag when heading out the door to a session.

Perfect for one shots

For players who are new to the game I love to teach the ins and outs of ShadowDark. The pre-gen characters are a good tool for that. Players can drop right in with a level 1 character and take right off. The artwork is solid too with that old school vibe going on. Solid purchase.
