    The solo rules needs a little more depth, but the player core rules are spot on excellent.

    My new favourite solo RPG tools. Genre-agnostic, I use it more for SF than fantasy. Memorised the yes/no oracle the first time I used it, and using a d20 with advantage/disadvantage is genius. Recommended.

    As a solo only player I really wanted to play Shadowdark, and Solodark makes it easy. Just the right amount of rules and tables without being overwhelming. This gives you the room to use your imagination and creativity to guide your adventure with the guidance needed to keep your adventure going. Love the old school feel of Shadowdark. Takes my back to my old DnD days when the game was a dangerous dungeon crawl. Being a busy adult with work and responsibilities, the solo play is perfect to fit in when I get free time, so I can still enjoy a fun Adventure.
