Fun to play and easy to run

I ran this adventure for a group of three with one person playing the first time. For me it was super easy to run, with almost zero prep work. Due to this I had more time to engage with the players, especially the new one.
Everyone had a blast and even with 3 players it went smooth. Only one player died in the final fight but I had the player resurrected from a cleric at the church.

Perfect for a spooky one shot!

Great written adventure, compelling encounters, cool combat mechanics.

That the undead are more intelligent than usual gives combat a nice twist. I really enjoyed the ghouls trying to drag the players down the sinkholes, and so did my players haha!

Very solid dungeon delve for beginners !

Loved it - the classic atmosphere, ability to modify the dungeon as you please, well detailed NPCs and environments...
One thing I'd put a bit emphasis on is "why" things happen right as the characters visit & "why" does the ritual require blood / what adventurers are interrupting (v. just stopping the bad necromancer).
Looking forward to run it again for other newbies !

Great adventure

well made, maps worked great on foundry. I'm a new DM and this was a lot of fun to play. took us 2 sessions to finish, playing with new players as well.

I'm a new DM, having taken the plunge after our regular DM needed a break. This is fairly bare-bones, but I prefer it that way as i could easily adapt this to my own setting (my players are part of a paranormal investigation guild so this fit right in). Overall this was really fun to play through, with the puzzles being a highlight for my players. The whisper skull is also a really cool Mcguffin to easy to spin off into further adventures.
